This work is about Russia's war against Ukraine. I did this work when my city was heavily bombed by the Russians and I was hiding in a bomb shelter. This work was done with a ballpoint pen on office paper А3. I deliberately use the simplest and most non-artistic materials. I want to emphasize the lightness, simplicity, accessibility and illusion of contemporary art.
The work is perceived as a pattern of movement within a given system. The central curve acts as a node or pivot point where energy changes direction. The red stripes create a field of tension, reminiscent of a signal or an area of heightened activity, whilst the blue lines structure and organise the space. The system is not static; it seems to allow movement, data or even bodies to pass through it.
The picture must be expanded and placed in a graphic frame. This can be easily done by yourself or in any baguette studio.
