With 'Sennen at Dusk', I wanted to capture that quiet twilight serenity at Sennen Cove, where the low evening light softly illuminates the dramatic Atlantic swells as they crash against the shoreline.

Painted in rich acrylics, this piece focuses on movement, texture, and light. I used sweeping, expressive brushstrokes and built up many layers of paint, mirroring the tactile energy of the ocean and the rugged beauty of the West Cornwall coast. Deep indigo blues and shadowy coastal rocks are contrasted against soft, glowing highlights, inviting you to step right into the cool salty breeze and take in the view.
