This is the first self-portrait that I realized, dated 2015. The artwork is painted oil on wood with a gestural but realistic technique. The details of the face and the brush strokes are expressive and gestural. The colours I used for painting this small and detailed portrait are warm as well as the wooden surface that I chose as a support
