The artwork is crafted on precious watercolor paper, which, thanks to my layered technique, becomes sturdy and resilient. I attach a hook at the back so that it can be hung even without a frame.
The dome of St. Peter's greets me every day because I live right in the neighborhood that surrounds it, and I consider myself very fortunate for this. I can nourish myself daily with the beauty and history of this city, visited by millions of tourists. I hear its bells tolling and admire the grandeur of one of the greatest works of Christianity. I couldn't help but create a piece to express my gratitude.
