Respiro tra i rami (2022) Original Oil Painting by Antonino Puliafico

"Respiro tra i rami" brings Antonino Puliafico’s gestural approach to trees, vegetation and filtered light into an original oil painting on canvas. Measuring 150 × 210 cm and dated 2022, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.

Material presence is essential: gestural mark-making gives the work a layered surface in which gesture and colour remain clearly visible.

The artist's mastery is brilliantly manifested in the painting "Breathing Among the Branches." The scene depicted evokes a sense of peace and serenity, in which the sun filters through the branches of the trees, illuminating the pure air and giving a feeling of freedom. The choice of oil on canvas gives the work a vivid and vibrant quality, with nuances and details that capture the viewer's attention.

The result is a one-of-a-kind work with a strong physical presence, conceived for collectors drawn to contemporary Italian painting and expressive colour.

For shipping, the canvas is carefully protected and sent in a heavy-duty tube with tracking, together with a Certificate of Authenticity.
