My early morning walks led me to this beautiful scene filled with striking light and long, graceful shadows. I’m always drawn to backlit moments like this—when strong sunlight wraps around trees and other objects, warming every color it touches and giving the landscape a quiet glow. There’s an energy in that kind of light that I can never resist.

I hope you can feel some of the excitement I felt as I stopped to take reference photos, knowing I’d bring the moment back to my studio to explore in paint. This piece is nicely framed and arrives ready to hang on your wall.
