This is an original clay sculpture by Pavel Kuragin.

This rabbit sculpture in noodle bath is created from clay. It has been fired twice to 1000C.
I used glazes.

Some parts of sculpture have been hand painted using acrylics for more expression.

Discover a truly unique piece of contemporary ceramics — "Rabbit in the Noodle Bath". This sculpture sits at the intersection of surrealism and naive art, guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and catch everyone's eye.

At the center of the composition is a sweet face with striking, piercing emerald-green eyes and a delicate pink nose. The ceramic base is covered in a lustrous glaze that shimmers beautifully in shades of mint green, grey, and white.

However, the main "trick" of this masterpiece is its body. It is crafted into a dense, intertwining mass that resembles knitted yarn, spaghetti, or a tangle of threads. This intricate, high-relief texture is hand-sculpted from natural clay, while the vibrant crimson inclusions (resembling dollops of tomato sauce) make the piece even more playful, humorous, and multi-layered.

The sculpture stands on small, sturdy legs, allowing it to appear both as a whimsical character and a stylish miniature bowl or trinket holder.

Artist's Statement / Why it's special

This isn't just an ordinary figurine—it is a little quirky monster that will definitely become the star of your shelf. It fits perfectly into modern, Scandinavian, or eclectic interiors, as well as any collection of unusual ceramics. Works in this style instantly draw attention and bring a cheerful, whimsical vibe. It makes an excellent and memorable gift for anyone who truly appreciates original, uncompromising, and emotionally-charged art.
