Painted Sky Tree is a contemporary stylized view of a large tree. The background has been divided up into different pastel colours between the branches. The tree is a deep mahogany red colour. It is painted in acrylics and sealed with a matte UV varnish.
It is a painting, on thick paper, attached to heavy cardboard, to keep it flat. This is then framed with an ivory mount and backed with additional card to keep it tidy, and ready to frame. It takes a regular 16 x 20 inch frame. I supply the mount, but not the frame. I have shown it framed in the photos, just so you can see the effect. It looks good with a black frame.
