Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

A reduction linocut of the Palladian Bridge at Stowe Landscape Gardens. This linocut is my answer to the Artfinder Community Yogurt Culture Project.
Palladian architecture is heavily influenced by ancient Greek and Roman designs, so this is 'Greek Style' culture - like yogurt!

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean. The mounted work will fit straight into a standard off-the-shelf 10x10inch frame.

This artwork will be packaged in a bubble envelope with plenty of card support for safety.

Materials used:

Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a standard 10 x 10 inch frame.
