At the lower right, a figure in a red hooded jacket stands with unusual solidity against surrounding mayhem, holding an indeterminate object at waist height. That red is the warmest and most materially present note in the canvas. Everywhere else, figures accumulate: electric cyan outlines produce faces, grasping hands, contorted bodies, reaching arms from a field offering no stable negative space. Upper left holds a large dark-red circular form. At lower left, a blue-skinned figure crouches open-mouthed. Text fragments appear at the upper right margin. The density of embedded forms is such that the eye cannot rest anywhere without encountering another face or limb pressing through from beneath.
