„Palm oil is contained in biofuel, lipstick, chocolate cream, shampoo and ice - it's hard to avoid.
The production of palm oil has devastating effects on the habitat of the orangutans. The progressive deforestation of plantations for palm oil production leads to loss of biodiversity and accelerates climate change.
When tropical forest is destroyed, biodiversity suffers. Not only the orangutan loses its habitat, but many other animals and plants.
Orangutan protection is climate protection.”
