Medusa - In Greek mythology the youngest of the three Gorgon. Her perception changed over time. Once a monster and old, pre-Olympian deity, later a victim of transformation as a result of the challenge of the goddess thrown. The collective name of the three sisters Gorgoes (later the Gorgones) comes from the ascension element, also present in the word gorgos, which in Greek means wild, terrible, is associated with the Polish word horror.
