A strange little kingdom has taken shape, inhabited by creatures that seem to have invented their own rules. They observe, overlap, cling to one another and quietly occupy the space. Their imperfect bodies emerge through layers of transparent colour, stains, fine lines and accidental marks. Somewhere between animals, imaginary beings and pure abstraction, they form a playful and slightly mysterious community. The work embraces spontaneity and imperfection, allowing each creature to appear almost by itself through the painting process.
