I would like a kitty

In the form of child's drawing treansffered into printmaking, I´m authentically capturing the images of a dream cat that I used to draw as a kid for years. My wish was fulfilled, but not in the most desired form. The tragicomic experience of cats overgrowing taken from my angle of view is processed in a set of several dimensional graphs. Created with a combination of a dry point and a monotype of size 95x125cm
The set tells of disintegration of a child's dream after confronting reality. It tries to describe and mock the problem that has affected our household for many years. The cat in this case is not only a cause of problems, but also a representative of family problems that are not related to the situation. It performs both the role of the culprit and the victims.
