This is the view from the corner of my house to side of my neighbors house. It's not always the subject itself for me but rather some aspect that grabs my attention like the contrast between the shadow at the edge of my house and the light on the lawn bordering our properties. Things like this can be the impetus for a painting as I think about how I'll translate what I see with paint.
