About Jimmy Leslie

Jimmy Leslie is painter, former college art professor and currently Resident Artist for the fine art brands Liquitex and Winsor & Newton.  Jimmy also directs The Fine Art Collective education program for the brands in North America and works with the marketing team on assets related to new product development.  His paintings have been exhibited across the United States and reside in collections in the US, UK, Australia and Costa Rica.

Of his personal work Jimmy says, “I am constantly trying to achieve simplicity in my paintings which continues to be a lifelong challenge”.  When teaching Jimmy enjoys sharing the process of that challenge and seeking ways in which he can convey information to students in a clear and concise manner that helps them overcome stumbling blocks.
