Completed in the spring, this painting shows a man and his dog walking along the shoreline of Bournemouth beach with the Isle of Wight in the background. I like the loose brushwork in both distance and foreground and the soft, subtle palette. The painting is framed in a good quality, white painted wood frame with a shadow gap between the canvas and frame to enhance the painting.
