Moody skies and pastel tones make this a very calming image of a rainy evening at Seilebost Beach on the Isle of Harris in the far north west of Scotland. The image is a soft blend of muted teal and turquoise with deep blue grey in the sky shot through with bright sunshine so typical of the northern shoreline.

Seilebost is a beautiful beach that lies off a single track road, here the tide runs in over soft silver sand creating mesmerising puddles of turquoise and teal. It is a place for reflection and calming the spirit. So remote that in some months you can be alone for hours on end.
