Mocha Brown is an original contemporary abstract painting by Suzanne Vaughan. An abstract expressionist style painting with smooth flowing transitions of paint in shades of warm rich mocha brown. Layers of paint are applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.

Painted on a piece of canvas with an extra 4 inches around the 40” x 40” painting which allows for many framing options such as a floater frame or stretching onto a gallery wrap frame.
