Misty Moorland Trees Original Acrylic Painting by oconnart

An autumnal impressionist painting of a remote misty moorland with a lone stand of trees silhouetted against a grey sky.
The surrounding moor is layered with purple heather, tawny ochre grasses, and brown, creating a richly textured landscape.
In this artwork i have tried to convey the moody sombre atmosphere of the wild misty windswept moors of the British isles, particularly the vast moors of Sutherland, Caithness and Rannoch.

Painted using quality artists paints on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white square profile wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
Please note the frame may differ slightly to the one shown due to availability.
