Original artwork description:

In “Midsummer Night’s Dream,” I invite the viewer into an intimate nocturne, a 36x48 inch oil canvas that whispers of the ethereal and the earthly entwined. This work is an homage not to the play by name, but to the spirit of a mystical garden at the height of summer’s magic. Here, the veils between worlds grow thin, and a sprite-like figure emerges, part of the tree, part of the dream, a guardian of the natural and the mystical.

The painting bathes in the paradox of light and shadow, where the tangible forms of the garden - the foliage, the wood, the soil - meet the intangible glow of fairy light. The elfin being is at one with the arbor, gazing with knowing eyes that reflect the ancient wisdom of the forest and the playful mischief of fairy tales.

Each brushstroke is a tribute to the unseen, the felt, the believed. In the quiet of the garden, the canvas becomes a portal to the otherworldly, where the viewer is invited to let go of the waking world and surrender to the dream. This piece is a testament to those fleeting moments when we feel the pulse of life most acutely, in the beauty of a midsummer’s night, where anything feels possible, and every dream feels within reach.

Because of the size this canvas comes rolled and can be easily restretched to frame by framer.
