At its heart sits a woman — luminous, unhurried, draped in gossamer gold as though clothed in the last light of a dying day. She does not look afraid. She does not look innocent. She looks like someone who has heard the melody before and chosen, knowingly, to listen again.
Behind her, a dark masculine presence looms — not threatening, but inevitable. A figure of shadow and silk, of history and hunger, he watches without intervening, as though he too is merely a witness to what is already written.
