Artwork description:

The sculpture "Mary. Youth" is an embodiment of the enchanting magic of childhood, a frozen moment where reality intertwines with fantasy. This bronze beauty, measuring 90x50x25 cm and weighing 12 kg, seems to have frozen in the moment when the wind plays with her dress and hair, ready to lift her into the air. In her right hand - an umbrella, akin to the key to the gates of magic.

Every tiny detail of the sculpture is filled with wonder. The wind, embodied in dense bronze, seems to dance around the girl, lifting her light dress and creating a sense of movement and lightness. The wind-blown hair adds lively dynamism, reminiscent of the carefree days of childhood.

The sculpture "Mary. Youth" gains even more significance when viewed through the lens of my memories and childhood fantasies. This piece of art transports me back to the days when I fell in love with the world of my favorite saga, "Mary Poppins."

In my childhood, much like the heroine of the fairy tale, I often ran out into the street with an umbrella when the wind played its games. Through the eyes of a child, I saw in this windy dance the possibility of taking flight and becoming a sorceress belonging to the world of wonders and fantasies.

As Elena, I dreamt that if I were called Mary, I would have become a true sorceress, capable of soaring into the sky. In this artwork, I find my own story, my little corner of magic, and nostalgia for a time when childhood was full of mysteries and possibilities.
