Magic Forest/The Roads We Take (2024) Original Oil Painting by Olga McNamara BiennaleArtist

This painting is about the roads we take in life. Some are clear, others appear only as we move forward. Sometimes we know exactly where we are going, and sometimes we simply have to trust the path.

I painted this forest as a place that is both real and imagined. The layers of deep green, turquoise and warm gold create paths that seem to appear and disappear, leading somewhere beyond what we can see.

For me, Magic Forest is about moving forward without always knowing what is waiting ahead, and about the unexpected beauty we can find along the way.
