About Olga McNamara

Her professional affiliations with the Association of Mediterranean Artists (AMA) and Visual Artists Ireland (VAI) stand as a testament to her unwavering dedication to her craft. Several of Olga’s works have been honoured with 14 prestigious awards in international juried painting exhibitions (Camelback Gallery, USA; UPWARD Gallery, USA; Chalkwell Auctions, UK). 

Olga’s body of work paints an intricate narrative of the human spirit, fuelled by a passionate exploration of raw emotion and the universal pursuit of love and joy. Each stroke on the canvas echoes her intuitive, deeply reflective approach to ideation and creation. Her signature style is an orchestrated blend of intentional brush and knife strokes, fluid rhythmic forms, and a vibrant palette that dances between hues. The evolution of her artistic journey over time has seen a shift from the natural landscapes and still-life studies that initially kindled her imagination to the bold and emotive realm of abstract expressionism. Created amidst the lush green landscapes of Ireland and the sun-drenched vistas of Cyprus, Olga’s art is a reflection of her rich tapestry of experiences, both lived and observed.
