MADEMOISELLE OMBELINE is an original and amusing sculpture that combines calabash wood and blown glass.
Charming with her shy little face and large green eyes, her plump, luminous and innocent figure, dressed in pale turquoise-green and a little linen-coloured apron, she reminds us that grace lies above all in the soul of the person who radiates it around them with generosity and simplicity…
Like all CalbinoOz figures, her body is crafted from calabash wood reworked with superfine wood cellulose, which is moulded, dried, then painted and varnished to give a ceramic-like washed-out effect.
Her blown-glass eyes reveal the essence of her secret personality.
The sculpture stands on a black iron base that keeps it upright.
