Original artwork description
This painting imagines a garden beside the water, where classical sculptures, broken columns, plants and architectural fragments are gathered together. It was inspired by my interest in ruins and the way natural growth can make old structures feel newly alive.
I used bright, unusual colours to move the scene away from a real location and into a more dreamlike space. The figures sit among flowers, water and scattered objects, as if the garden has been slowly built up from different memories and places.
Materials used:
watercolor, colorpencils and paper
Details:
- Mixed-media painting on Paper
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 43 x 43 x 2cm (framed)
- This artwork is sold framed
- Signed certificate of authenticity
- Style: Expressive and gestural
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
