Listening to trees (2018) Original Acrylic Painting by Phyllis Mahon

£375

A calm painting of an open landscape in which blue and white predominate and where a female face is cradled in the lower branches of the blossom filled foreground tree.

The landscape recedes with mountains on the horizon and swirling energy towards the foreground and the tree. It wasn't a conscious inclusion but I now feel that the mountain looks a little like Mount Vesuvius - I visited there in 2016.

Sold Unframed - the image is painted around the edge of the canvas, so there is no need for a frame.

Packed carefully and sent by tracked delivery.
