L'Impeto infinito (2026) Original Stone Sculpture by Andrea Serra

Sculpture carved by hand in Lecce stone, designed and created by artist Andrea Serra.
The illuminated sculpture “L’Impeto Infinito” (Infinite Impulse) represents stone transformed into movement, giving shape to an energy that rises upwards and seems to have no end. Its flowing curves interact with the void, evoking the invisible forces of nature and the constant tension between matter and freedom.
The sculpture is illuminated by a warm white LED strip integrated into its interior. The light colour can be customised upon request.
Every detail of this artwork is entirely handcrafted from Lecce stone, a unique natural material found in only a few areas of southern Italy, particularly in the lower Salento region of the province of Lecce. This distinctive stone, formed in a marine environment and rich in plant and animal fossils dating back millions of years, is ideally suited to fine, detailed carving.
Like every work by Andrea Serra, “L’Impeto Infinito” is individually hand-carved, making each piece truly unique. The artist’s signature is engraved directly into the sculpture.
