That painting is a "Honourable Mention" award at Dakota Art soft pastel competition 2021.
The tree that symbolize a full power of the Spring. Once the tree starts to bloom I grab my camera and my journey begins. There are long walks in searching the best composition but the purple beauty is worth of it.
I attempted to express the beauty of the Lilac tree in a dramatic colour palette , ranges from moody purples and greens to cool violet and light blue, that come along with bright green accents to create a balance in the palette.
