“The Labrador Portrait 2 sculpture was modelled on a beautiful lab, Prince, who’d sadly passed away prior to the commission.
Prince was commissioned in 2016 and I worked from his owner’s favourite photographs. He was a very handsome boy, and it was a challenge to capture his spirit and manner, but I really enjoyed sculpting him.”
