Woman's face, in quiet rapture, colour infusing her from a kiss.

Graphite on fine but strong Japanese paper, slightly textured, which has been applied onto a background of white, medium-weight, handmade cotton paper with a deckle edge.

I have worked in graphite to create the image, then used Derwent Watercolour pencils on top, to colour her face and lips, starting off from the area where the lips touch her face.

12 x 12 cm on 15 x 15cm paper
(5 x 5 inches on 6 x 6 inches)

Signed bottom right.

Available unframed.
Suggestion as to framing:
this small painting could be framed with the edge of the deckled paper visible
i.e. 'floated' in a box frame.
