An oil painting in a contemporary, expressive style, of the soft light spilling through an avenue of trees.

The initial layers of this painting have been built up and blurred, recreating the soft and daydreamy atmosphere found in Kew Gardens on this summer's day. I have then overpainted with bold brushstrokes to illustrate the lush weight of the trees, and to contrast with the sunlight gently filtering through onto the path, that recedes into the distance.

Ready to hang.

This artwork has been created using Michael Harding Professional Artists Oil Colours on stretched canvas. The edges are painted white, and it is ready to hang (please see additional photograph). This piece is signed and dated on the rear and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
