Original artwork description
Beneath a sky where storm clouds still hesitate to give way to light, delicate garments sway in the wind.
On one side, dark lace whispers its secrets. On the other, scarlet silk glows like embers against the fading sky. Between them hangs a single pair of white boxer shorts—simple, almost innocent.
The breeze brushes past them all without preference. Yet around that modest garment, everything seems to come alive. Colours answer one another, ribbons flutter, lace reaches outward, as though each hoped to hold on to what the other believes it possesses.
Perhaps jealousy is not born from the gaze we cast upon another, but from the illusion that the same breath, the same affection, could ever belong to only one.
The sky, however, chooses no one.
It simply lets the wind tell the stories that human hearts so often complicate.
