I love to look for meaning in the shadows that plants cast. Interpreting them in my own way, I live each image and paint as my heart sees it. I am not going to paint the same way. Departing from the usual view of nature, I see flowers in the shadow of leaves and vice versa. My work is expressive, but at the same time filled with love and serenity.

The inspiration for starting this work was the shadow of the Monster plant that lives in my studio. Admiring the beautiful shadows from the leaves, I imagined two flowers admiring each other.
