  • Biography
    Hello.
My name is Natalia and I live in Ukraine, in Kyiv. Enjoying every new day, creating and loving is what is important to me now! Despite the fact that there is a war in my country, I paint a lot. I paint, which means I live! I am happy! My watercolours are my inner world.

Nature inspires me, and I paint nature. Watercolour as a material fascinates with its subtlety. Everything happens at the level of intuition, and I know that this is my material.
I and watercolour are one and the same.

At the moment, there are 2 main directions in my work: abstractions and precise botanical drawings.

The process of creating each work is an inspiration for me. Botanical painting accurately reproduces the structure and colour of a plant. Abstract works give free rein to my imagination, and I paint imaginary flowers and plants that live in me and my imagination.

But one thing I know for sure is that nature is perfect, it has no flaws. Since childhood, I have loved drawing and observing plants. After graduating from an art and aesthetic school, I decided to combine these two disciplines and become a botanical artist and illustrator.

I am a watercolourist, graphic artist, calligrapher, member of the ASBA (American Society of Botanical Arts), and work in various techniques, including watercolour, ink, coloured and graphite pencils, and charcoal.

I regularly participate in international exhibitions and competitions. A very important event for me last year was the exhibition of the American Society of Botanical Artists ASBA "Dare to be Square", where my works were awarded and sold. In 2022, my work was presented at the FABRIANOinAcqarello 2022 exhibition and 3 of my botanical works were exhibited at the SBA exhibition in Melbourne.

In my work, I explore the depths and subtleties of the relationship between nature and man. I invite the viewer to experience the beauty of the world around them, to discover its perfection and elegance - from the vein of a eucalyptus leaf to the curve of a rose petal.

Over the past 8 years, I have painted more than 2000 works.
Many of them are in private collections in America, Germany, Great Britain, France, Denmark and Ukraine.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my shop, I am very pleased to meet you.
