Before you stands a surrealist painting rooted in my personal memory of Kyiv and an encounter with a remarkable historic building. However, this is not a documentary representation of a place or an event. It is an artistic transformation of memory, emotions, and knowledge that emerged from that experience.
The architectural image that became the starting point for this painting acquired new forms and meanings within my imagination. It transformed into a kind of portal between the past and the future, between reality and imagination. Within this space, new intellectual and creative connections began to take shape, like pieces of a puzzle coming together, later finding their continuation in both scientific research and artistic projects.
