Iceland landscape 3 (2025) Original Ink Drawing by Steve Potts

£150
Original artwork description
Small scale ink and pencil drawing of the stunning geology of Iceland from a visit in the summer of 2025. I was constantly struck by the overwhelming power of the local geology where basalt columns seem to have been thrusted up into the landscape from below. I was trying to reduce the scene to as little as possible without losing the impact and drama of the rock formations.
Materials used:
ink, pencil
Details:
- Ink drawing on Paper
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 17.6 x 9.4cm (unframed) / 15.5 x 7.3cm (actual image size)
- Signed on the front
- Style: Expressive and gestural
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
