The work depicts the figure of a horse standing on his hind legs. The horse’s neck is twisted forward emanating power and grandeur and his mane is streaming behind him capturing the dashing movement of the male animal. The sculpture oozes defiance and elan without undue exaggeration of the movement. The surface is polished to shine. The work was created in the Neoclassical style and the dark patina emphasizes the strong and at the same time agile body of the stallion, combining graciousness and masculinity.
