Original artwork description
The idea for this painting started simply because I wanted to paint something in this long thin format. The thought of a tower of acrobats would be perfect. It was also an excuse to paint circus people in colourful costumes. The scene is set at dusk, as with alot of my paintings. I enjoy painting long shadows and trying to capture the magic that can only be found at this part of the day. This painting is finished in gloss varnish.
