Original artwork description:

The inspiration for this painting was a large bunch of leaves collected on a walk in the bush.
Although it is an abstract painting, I wanted to portray the many shades of green in the leaves, and the contrasting colour of the berries.
With abstract painting, there can be the initial inspiration, and then I play around with line, shapes and colour until something emerges which I am happy with.
This process can take quite a while, but it is fun and very exciting.

Materials used:

oil paint and acrylic paint
