Golden Leaves explores the quiet tension between holding on and letting go.
A solitary figure stands near the water beneath a nearly bare tree, while golden leaves drift across the deep blue landscape. The metallic details catch the light and shift subtly as the artwork is viewed from different angles, bringing a delicate sense of movement to the stillness of the scene.

I created the painting through layered washes of blue, turquoise and grey, allowing water and pigment to shape an atmosphere between memory and imagination. Against this vast, uncertain space, the remaining golden leaves become small signs of beauty, resilience and change.

Created in Portugal in 2025, this original watercolour reflects my continuing exploration of solitude, transition and the emotional traces left by time.

The artwork is sold unframed and will be carefully packaged with a signed certificate of authenticity.
