Glow on the Ridge evokes a suspended moment of light, when the landscape seems to emerge and disappear at the same time. The glow concentrated along the ridge gives the composition its focal point, while the surrounding forms remain softer and less defined.
Built through successive layers of acrylic, translucent glazes and texture, the painting creates a shifting space between landscape and abstraction.
