My Favorite Room (2025) Original Watercolour by Kristen Olson Stone

This is a joyful painting of a young giraffe casually lounging on a sofa in a garden sun room. The sofa is filled with a tropical themed blanket and pillows. This style of this painting is impressionistic and detailed at the same time.
The colors and decor feature a carefully curated collection of potted anthuriums and orchids. The wall is adorned with china, glass bottles and an elephant statue. A painting of Mt. Kilimanjaro with giraffes drinking from a watering hole hangs above an Asian style cabinet with a glass bird sculpture. The tile floor is visible through the intricate wire table on which sits a tagine that we bought in Marrakech!
I especially love the side-eyed, smiley expression of the giraffe in this painting!

This painting comes sealed in a clear acrylic sleeve, with a certificate of authenticity and ships safely rolled in a tube.
It has been painted with Rembrandt professional watercolor paints on Arches French-made, all cotton, heavyweight watercolor paper.
