The forest is singing.
It whispers, murmurs, growls and grumbles; at times it hums, at times it purrs, resonates, or rings like distant bells.
It lets us hear the wind breathing through the leaves and discern the songs of the birds that dwell within it.
But if we linger until nightfall, we find ourselves listening more intently, waiting for the hoot of a nocturnal owl or the haunting howl of some wandering wolf.
