Original artwork description
Fluctuat is part of a series of paintings in which is prominent the deformation of the body. Another recurring characteristic is the fluctuation of objects and bodies, as well as the hair. Those elements, combined, give to the composition an impression of movement. The weightless of the fluctuating bodies is in contrast to the physicality of the style of the brush stroke.
As usual I'd like to suggest some questions instead of giving answers. Why are the main character and the cat flying about so suavely? And where are they going?
