Flamingo Light captures a moment suspended between dusk and memory. Reeds sway in a windless air against a sky that moves from violet to blush to warm peach — colour that was never mixed, only allowed to find its own gradient. The grasses are not painted but revealed, emerging from layers of pigment as if they had always been there, waiting.

This work belongs to an early period of Evgenija Koch’s practice, before the 3D series — and already carries the signature of her technique: no brushstroke dominates, no tool asserts itself. Only light, movement, and the quiet certainty of something once seen and never forgotten.

Materials used:

Acryl, Mixed Media, Pastell
