In this work, the female figure is portrayed as the embodiment of inner strength and vital energy.
The figure seems to emerge from a space of light and shadow, whilst retaining a sense of stability and wholeness.
The warm ochre and reddish tones of the body contrast with the deep, dark background, emphasising the woman’s presence as a source of energy and light.
Despite her outward fragility, the figure is imbued with a calm confidence and strength that needs no demonstration.
The work explores femininity not as vulnerability, but as the ability to maintain balance, to carry life-force within oneself, and to remain a pillar of strength in any situation.
