This painting continues my interest in surrealist imagery and the playful artistic experiments of the 1960s. Two female figures stand side by side in a quiet landscape, wearing dresses made entirely of bananas. The scene feels both familiar and strange at the same time — somewhere between fashion, dream, and visual joke.

I wanted the work to stay simple and open without unnecessary symbolism. The fruit forms create rhythm and texture, while the muted background gives the composition a calm, slightly cinematic atmosphere. There is also a connection to the spirit of pop art and experimental figurative painting, where ordinary objects become unexpected visual elements.

The painting is made with expressive brushwork and soft layered colors, balancing humor, elegance, and slight absurdity.
