Based on a trip to Ashbourne in Derbyshire and some of the surrounding areas. I was lucky enough to attend a course run by Lewis Noble who has his studio in Ashbourne. We went out for a couple of days doing plein-air drawings and paintings, in challenging (end of October) but exhilarating weather conditions and I have been working from them ever since.
